• The moving annual total stands at 167.1m, 3.2 % up on the MAT this time last year

• The average weekly admissions figure for March was 2.69% again a slight decrease of -2.2% on average weeks in Mar 2008

Marley and Me became the highest grossing film in March taking an impressive £11.2m  

Watchmen was the second highest release in March. The much anticipated comic adaptation took £8.4m in March alone

• Despite releasing in Feb, Gran Torino continues to pull in the pennies for Clint Eastwood. His (allegedly) last film took £5.7m in March, taking the total to £8.1m

Slumdog Millionaire is still capturing audiences hearts. 3 months on from its release it took a further £5.6m in Mar alone taking it's gross to £31.5m!!
