27th June 2007 saw the official launch of Vue Music, with the broadcast of the Genesis comeback tour live from Dusseldorf into 43 Vue sites across the UK, shown in 2K High Definition quality and Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Vue have invested heavily in state-of-the-art digital and satellite technology to provide a robust and sizeable infrastructure to broadcast alternative content, and followed the success of the Genesis concert by broadcasting the British Grand Prix to 29 of their sites.

Vue and Pearl & Dean are committed to exploring the possibilities for such technology. An example of this will be the launch of Vue Comedy in October. Vue will be broadcasting a live stand-up show from Ross Noble to the 43 UK sites. In order to enhance the experience for the cinema audience we will trialing the use of an interactive screen in the auditorium allowing Ross to interact with the audience in one of our cinemas, as well as the audience in the auditorium. |

Other forthcoming events include the red carpet launch of Kylie's White Diamond in October and a live broadcast of the Take That tour at the end of the year. In addition, we are currently in talks with a number of content providers for what is shaping up to be a very exciting 2008.
