Slides are shown at the beginning of the programme sequence via either a standard Kodak 80slide carousel projector or in a growing number of sites, digitally. The show features a mix of forthcoming attractions, house announcements, and mainly local businesses. Slides are shown for 7.5 seconds each and a typical advertiser can expect up to three slides in each screen.
In the main, its chiefly the newer multiplexes which are equipped with this equipment and we offer around a 70 sites in UK including VUE & Apollo.
No it's mute - even with digital.
Most local advertisers do not have access to a suitable 35mm film commercial so this is an ideal low cost alternative. We also have a number of national brands who sometimes take advantage of the lower media/production costs.
What sort of creative do I supply?
Usually any good quality artwork or Mac compliant software can be supplied. We produce most artwork and shoot straight to 35mm slide here at P&D in our own studio at low cost but we can also accept your own copy if suitable. The technical spec can be supplied to you.
By and large the answer is no but we will allow up to one change FOC during a 52 week contract. This situation is changing with the introduction of digital of course where remote access enables us to make changes more cost effective for all parties.
How long does it take to get a campaign up on screen?
Allow at least 3-4 weeks in general but this depends on creative/current operational workload.
We can provide creative and media costs on request as sites vary in screen numbers etc.
We have a number of sites now available offering enhanced creative features and overall presentation.
