Pearl & Dean have conducted a large number of case studies to validate the impact of cinema advertising. These case studies cover a multitude of brands and a range of product categories, whilst also investigating the benefits of using different on and off screen innovations e.g. sponsorship, foyer promotions, use of the silver spot etc. By exploring our library of case studies you will begin to understand just how powerful cinema advertising can be in terms of raising awareness for your brand, increasing recall of your commercial, improving perceptions of your brand, and consideration. Our case studies mostly follow the same format with the use of a test and control cell. The test cell respondents will have been exposed to the cinema advertising whilst the control cell respondents won’t have. Interviews commonly take the form of day after recall using telephone interviews, although respondents are unaware that they will be asked about advertising. In terms of sample size it is normal to use 200 in the test cell and 100 in the control cell, providing us with robust results from which we can draw conclusions.
