Pearl & Dean wins Brand Partnership of the Year at The Screen Awards

Pearl & Dean were delighted to win the Brand Partnership of the Year at the Screen Awards for our work with the band Queen to promote Bohemian Rhapsody.

Queen’s legendary guitarist Brian May recreated the iconic ‘Asteroid’ theme, which was shown before screenings of the much-acclaimed Freddie Mercury biopic.

The Screen Awards judges were impressed with the synergy between Pearl & Dean, Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody distributors 20th Century Fox to seamlessly promote the film and provide a fun and interesting take on the traditional, and well-loved, Pearl & Dean ident.

The Screen Awards, in its 10th year, recognises excellence in UK film distribution, exhibition, production, marketing, publicity and brand partnerships, acknowledging the wide array of studios, companies, teams and individuals that contribute to the success of the British film industry.

Pearl & Dean was in an esteemed crowd of winners at The Screen Awards, including Paramount Pictures UK, Curzon Cinemas, Rocketman, and Dame Judi Dench, who was guest of honour and picked up the Outstanding Contribution to UK Film.
